So here's the deal - I originally got an account here on dA to collect favorites and turn the damn annoying child-filter off.
After some time I figured I'd upload a couple designs with the handy-dandy heroMachine2.
Eventually I got mah hands on a good camera, so now I can call myself a member of dA and not just a leecher.

First, any tips from better experienced photographers would be nice. So far all I have to work with is a general knowledge of the technology behind cameras and light/wave physics. That and a beautiful residence.

Next, I decided I'd try my hand at coloring. Got myself Photoshop, and a few lines. With a little tinkering, I've managed to figure out how the program basically works and how to compensate for my utter lack of eye-hand. See, I've got a great eye for detail, but my hands - inexperienced and under equipped , they are sub-standard tools. Most likely its simply the fact I haven't trained them for precision, there never seemed to be an art form available to me in my youth that I had any talent for except tracing, but that just wasn't satisfying to me...

Bad idea to write anything at 230 AM, I'm rambling.

To make a long story short - help, tips, and leads would be much appreciated. If it turns out I actually do have talent and my skills increase to the point of a little recognition, credit shall be given.


On that note, take a look at my latest color in my scraps, read the description/notes, and if you know anything let me know. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, especially if there is something I can learn from them, or more likely work I can ethically and morally build upon.
